The investment that the States make in science, technology and innovation is essential to reach not only economic levels of development, but also social ones. Scientific development impacts on the reduction of inequalities, on environmental preservation, and on improving the quality of life. Contingent on investment in Science is interrupting the development process, and without Science there is no future for humanity.
