Publishing ethics and best practice

The Iberoamerican Journal of Health Law is affiliated with the Committee on Publications Ethics (COPE) and adopts its ethical principles and guidelines for best practice set forth in Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing. By submitting their manuscripts, authors accept the terms of the journal's editorial policy as well as the guidelines and best practices recommended by COPE.

In addition, compliance with specific laws (if any) of the country in which the research was conducted should be observed and incorporated into the Ethics Committee approval protocol, if applicable. This information should be included in the methodology of the article. The Editorial Board reserves the right to request additional information on the ethical procedures that were performed as part of the research.
