Current Issue
This edition brings together articles that address fundamental and urgent issues in the field of Health Law, such as the right to health of quilombola and albinism-affected populations, the regulation of medicinal cannabis, the challenges of judicialization of the transgender process, the inclusion of Indigenous people with disabilities in public policies, and genomic biases affecting reproductive equity. In addition, the edition discusses themes such as social participation in oral health, the incorporation of technologies into the SUS (Brazil’s Unified Health System), and academic training experiences in specialization courses.
In line with its editorial entitled “Science with regional identity: toward a diverse and representative scientific production in Brazil”, this issue of CIADS features exclusively articles by authors affiliated with institutions from Brazil's Northeast and Central-West regions—either individually or in collaboration with other researchers — as a concrete step toward increasing representativeness in the scientific production on the right to health.
