Authors must declare on the Cover Page any potential conflict of interest, including political and/or financial interests related to patents or intellectual property, the provision of materials, and/or the materials and/or equipment used in the research.

The same orientation applies to scientific reviewers of manuscripts. They should declare that they are prevented from evaluating a study if there is a potential conflict of interest that could influence the evaluation of the study, such as the identification of authors or lack of familiarity with the field of study of the work.
