Challenges to law in the face of a public health crisis

Abstract

Public health crises, such as the current health emergency caused by the coronavirus COVID-19, present very interesting and complex challenges for the various areas of law. Las Respuestas del Derecho a las Crisis de la Salud Pública and Retos jurídicos ante la crisis del COVID-19 address, analyze and bring the responses of various authors to the difficulties felt, transversal to all countries. Despite the works presented refer to a set of studies by Spanish authors, who analyze, in the first line, the Spanish legal system, the truth is that these studies are of interest to other legal systems that have experienced similar problems / responses.
