Health Judicialization in Brazil in the last decade: a systematic review

In Brazil, judicialization of health is a phenomenon that is characterized by judicial actions requiring medicines, ICU, among others. Objective: Identify the profile of studies on health judicialization in Brazil in the last decade. Method: Systematic review of literature. Results: 129 articles were selected for summary reading and 16 for more accurate analysis. Most research deals with the judicialization of health in pharmaceutical assistance, published in the period from 2009 to 2014 (60%) and large part in public health magazines (40%) and sanitary law (20%). Conclusion: the studies point to the need for approximation between the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches.
