Abstract

The essay aims to reflect on the contradictions experienced by human rights from Modernity, in a historical perspective. It addresses the complexity of rights discourse - from the first to the fourth generation - and the crisis of the Social Rule of Law. The conclusion is that it is difficult to interpret and apply the core content of human rights, including aspects related to the right to health, given the current historical moment.
