Sections for publishing

Article: this section includes original research and literature review articles within the scope of the Journal. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review.

Original research articles: maximum of 6,000 words and 5 figures, including title, abstract, keywords and footnotes. References are not included in the total word count.

Literature review articles: maximum of 8,000 words and 5 figures, including title, abstract, keywords and footnotes. References are not included in the total word count.

Short communication: this section includes preliminary research findings. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review. Maximum 1,700 words and 1 figure, including title, abstract, keywords and footnotes. References are not included in the total word count.

Jurisprudence and health legislation commented: this section includes analysis of court decisions in the field of health law and national and international health law. Maximum 3,000 words including title, abstract, keywords and footnotes. References are not included in the total word count.

Book review: this section contains analytical reviews of books of interest in health law, written by Brazilian or foreign authors and published no more than two years ago.  Reviews will be evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief. Maximum 3,000 words and 1 figure, including title, abstract, keywords and footnotes. References are not included in the total word count.
