This section is intended for the publication of original manuscripts consistent with the journal’s scope, including:
- empirical research articles;
- literature review articles;
- doctrinal studies;
- experience reports.
All manuscripts submitted to this section undergo double-blind peer review.
Length and illustrations:
- Scientific articles and experience reports: up to 6,000 words and up to 5 illustrations, including title, abstract, keywords, and footnotes. References are excluded from the word count.
- Review articles and doctrinal studies: up to 8,000 words and up to 5 illustrations, including title, abstract, keywords, and footnotes. References are excluded from the word count.
2. Brief Communication
This section is intended for the rapid and concise dissemination of original and unpublished findings, preliminary results, or original studies with a clearly defined scope on contemporary topics relevant to Health Law, with potential immediate impact on academic and institutional debate.
All manuscripts submitted to this section undergo double-blind peer review.
Length and illustrations:
- Up to 1,700 words and up to 1 illustration, including title, abstract, keywords, and footnotes. References are excluded from the word count.
3. Case Law and Commented Health Legislation
This section is dedicated to the analysis of judicial decisions and national or international legislation in Health Law.
Submissions may be spontaneous or invited and are assessed by the Editor-in-Chief.
Length and illustrations:
- Up to 3,000 words, including title, abstract, keywords, and footnotes. References are excluded from the word count.
4. Book Reviews
This section publishes analytical reviews of books relevant to Health Law, national or international, published within the last two years.
Submissions may be spontaneous or invited and are assessed by the Editor-in-Chief.

- Up to 3,000 words and up to 1 illustration, including title, abstract, keywords, and footnotes. References are excluded from the word count.
