The Iberoamerican Journal of Health Law uses the LOCKSS system developed by Stanford College to create a file that is distributed to participating libraries. The system allows these libraries to create permanent journal files for archiving and recovery. The Journal is also part of the Cariniana Digital Preservation Services Network, which provides archiving for all Open Journal System journals in Brazil.
The Journal includes the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting), which allows metadata to be harvested by other systems. The protocol can be accessed here.
