Cadernos Ibero-Americanos de Direito Sanitário (CIADS) has followed an issue-based publication model, with quarterly periodicity, since its establishment in 2012.

Since January 2026, CIADS has adopted the continuous publication modality, organized into a single annual volume, characterized by the following aspects:

• Articles are published individually as they become ready, after completion of the editorial process.
• The annual volume may include thematic sections dedicated to dossiers previously approved by the editorial board.
• All articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and an e-location-id, ensuring accurate identification, retrieval, and citation.
